DWI – 4th Offense – Felony

  • one year up to Six years in prison
  • up to $10,000 fine

  • DL suspension for 4 years

An interlock device is a machine hooked up to your ignition that prevents your car from starting if you have a detectable amount of alcohol on your breath. There are local and statewide providers for this service. There is an initial set up cost and a monthly maintenance fee that varies.
